Working Out: New Equipment

This is going to be so much fun!
I am super excited about joining another gym (still going to go to Ladies Only Total Fitness) and experiencing new equipment to help me achieve my goals : )

I have done excellent with cardio and strengthening my CORE but I want to step it up notch and I think this gym will help me do just that!

Phlebotomy and Fitness?!

I know.  How do these two things go together?  Well, they go together because they are who I am : )

I am a laboratory professional / Phlebotomy(ist) Instructor by day and a fitness enthusiast all the time : )

I have been a laboratory professional for well over 20 years and I love the field...I LOVE working in the lab.  I have also always wanted to workout in the gym and stay fit.  I started last year; last May to be exact and I started lifting and doing cardio, yoga...you name it. 

Whatever the gym had to offer I took advantage of it.  Now I am on my way to being an even better version of myself. 

I post my phlebotomy videos on YouTube because people have always told me I should teach Phlebotomy; so I decided to use YouTube to do it. 

When I started working out I thought why not share this side of me with you too, so that you can be inspired and motivated to do things you didn't think you could : )  I have!

I enjoy them both and that is why they are on my YouTube channel together.

Make working out a priority.  Whether it's for health reasons or not some sort of exercise regimen should be implemented into your daily routine.  The ones I share on my #crystastic #youtube Working it out! channel can be done at home or in a gym.

 I have made it apart of my #lifestyle to be #fit and #strong.  I want to continue to have #strength #flexibility and a nice toned body : )

Push Hard Tuesdays!!! : )

I know yesterday was Tuesday but.......I love the sound of  'Push Hard Tuesdays'.  I  know that everyone is aware that when you are in the gym it is mind over matter.  I have to push hard every day I go!  I enjoy it; but some days are easier than others.

With my 'push hard' Tuesday videos I am simply trying to inspire. I am trying to motivate, be consistant AND stay in shape; my alterior motive : )

Legs workout! This is how you make 'em BURN : )

So if you follow My Channel you know that I am enjoying working out; since May!  I started this journey and I am going to keep you all posted on my transformation.  Here in this video my trainer had me working on legs and she had my legs BURNIN'!!!!!!!!!!

It was awesome

6 Days a week!

I work out 6 days week.  I have a pretty good routine going and  most of all I really enjoy it.  Check out My YouTube Channel to see my trainer and I workout!

She (Zora;my trainer) really pushes me and I never knew I would be doing half of the things I'm doing.  I am not trying to lose weight and I am not too interested (anymore) in trying to gain; I just want to tone, be more flexible and strong(er). 

I have always had upper body strength and I am slowly but surely noticing lower body strength improvement since I started working out the end of May this year.  I am going to post more pics so that you guys can see the improvements; meanwhile check out my Instagram @crystasticjewels and/or my YouTube Crystastic.

I have really thrown myself into my workout routines and I am having so much fun!  I am actually spending money on workout shoes and stuff : )

I go every day faithfully! I started at the end of May going 2 days a week; then three days a week now 5 to 6 days a week. 

I am not dieting, but I am eating 'clean' and consciously being aware of what I put into my body.  I am weight training and maintaining my weight.
